Our symposium agenda is created and presented by members. Problems or questions you are facing can be solved by the full force of our members facing similar challenges. Operations that are new or safer benefit the entire industry and we encourage you to share that knowledge.
Top Ten Reason to attend |
|
| 1 | Attend the ADPA Symposium Of Course: Each year the day before DEMA starts is devoted to our Annual Symposium - a must for Dive Program Professionals. |
| 2 | Good Divers Are Always Learning: This is not just a clever magazine slogan, it's the truth. At DEMA show 2003, attendees attended more than 200 industry sponsored sessions, workshops, and exhibitor sponsored seminars as well as meetings with affiliated dive certification agencies. Non-confliction seminar time lets attendees really take advantage of these educational opportunities. |
| 3 | Safety First!: Each DEMA, the latest diver safety ideas, studies, and recommendations are unveiled to keep dive programs on the cutting edge of safety. |
| 4 | Equipment Concerns?: What better way to ask questions, procure donations, close a deal, or establish and build relationships with one of the hundreds of manufacturers who are attending the Show. |
| 5 | "What the Heck is That?????": The DEMA Show is where the latest innovations and new gear enhancements and progressive concepts are introduced. The New Product Showcase is one of the most popular spots on the Show floor and something no die-hard dive pro wants to miss! |
| 6 | "Don't I Know You?": With more than 14,000 people at this year's DEMA Show, you'll have plenty of time to renew acquaintances, catch up with old friends, and make some new ones! DEMA Show provides nearly endless possibilities for networking with other dive program professionals. |
| 7 | Can I Afford IT?: Can you afford not to? A true professional DSO is current with dive industry equipment, safety concerns, and learning opportunities. ADPA members can share rooms and, besides airfare, food is the only other expense besides the $20 DEMA registration fee. |
| 8 | International One-Stop Shopping: The DEMA Show is the number one place to check out the latest and greatest products and services the industry has to offer. Whether you want to update your program with the newest high-tech gadgets and gear, learn more about risk-management, or just stay on top of the latest industry news, ADPA/DEMA is the place to be. |
| 9 | Scope Out Volunteer Program Goodies: The Show is loaded with great items for recognizing your volunteers. From hats and decals to custom mask straps - it's all here. |
| 10 | Relax And Share: ADPA/DEMA is a great opportunity to unwind and share the highs and lows of day-to-day life as a Diving Program Administrator with colleagues who understand your triumphs, trials, and tribulations. |
